Day 1
Fly into the cultural triangle
Discuss a private air transfer from the airport to Sigiriya, then a ground transfer to your retreat. A naturalist-led evening walk introduces the surrounding landscape.
Day 2
Sigiriya & Minneriya
Visit Sigiriya early in the day, then explore Minneriya National Park on an afternoon 4×4 safari. Return to your cultural-triangle retreat.

Dambulla & the hills of Kandy
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple before a proposed helicopter transfer to Kandy. Explore the Temple of the Tooth with access arrangements confirmed in advance.
Day 4
Castlereagh from the air
A proposed floatplane transfer takes you into Castlereagh tea country. Settle into your highland stay and enjoy afternoon tea by the reservoir.
Day 5
Tea traditions & highland birdlife
Discover tea picking and production with an estate visit. A guided highland forest walk adds time for birdwatching around Castlereagh.
Day 6
The mountain railway to Ella
Transfer to Hatton for a rail journey to Ella. Available ticket class and seating arrangements are confirmed separately. Settle into your Ella stay.
Day 7
From Ella to the southern wilderness
Discuss a helicopter transfer towards Yala or Hambantota, followed by a ground transfer to your wilderness retreat. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 8
Yala & Bundala
Explore Yala on a private 4×4 safari, then visit Bundala’s wetlands for birdwatching. Wildlife sightings depend on conditions on the day.
Day 9
The coast & Galle Fort
A proposed coastal air transfer reaches Koggala before continuing to Galle. Discover the fort’s streets, ramparts and architecture with a guided walk.
